A ray of sunlight,
A drop of tear,
A bunch of roses and daffodils.
These are things that come, and then they go
Which you will never be able to hold.

Hands that catch you when you are falling.
Love that embraces you when you are hurting.
Friends you know who will be there.
Family to help you up when you despair.

Someone to love and grow old with.
If one falls down the other will be there.
To walk through life's challenges hand in hand,
Starting over when we fail again,
Never fearing when it'll be too late.

Best of all, watchful eyes that never sleep.
Tenderness and care, oh so deep!
Rest and peace, I'll always find,
Because of God's love that is forever mine.
